Linden-Kildare has gone 9-0-1 against Maud recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers face off against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Linden-Kildare has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Maud will arrive with 11 straight victories.

Linden-Kildare fell victim to Atlanta and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Rabbits, falling 15-0.

Linden-Kildare saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oivia Stewart, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double marked the first that Stewart hit this season.

Meanwhile, Maud beat Wolfe City 7-4 on Saturday.

The team relied heavily on Aleigh Carrell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Brooke Allison was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Maud always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .533 or higher in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Maud pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Linden-Kildare, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Linden-Kildare hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .372. However, it's not like Maud struggles in that department as they've averaged .515. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
