Volleyball Recap: Colonial Christian's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Colonial Christian entered their tilt with Calvary Christian on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the EAGLES with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory didn't come easy: Calvary Christian scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-20.

Kate Minton paced Colonial Christian's offense, picking up 13 kills. Minton got some help from Stinna Grubb and her 13 assists. Sara Potter controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Colonial Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Calvary Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Colonial Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Crosspointe Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Calvary Christian will challenge rival Indiana Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
