Basketball Game Preview: Logan Longhorns vs. Santa Rosa Lions

Having just played yesterday, the Logan Longhorns will get right back to it and host the Santa Rosa Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Logan comes in on 17 and Santa Rosa on three.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Logan against Clayton as the team secured a 77-46 win. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Rosa). They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 72-35 victory over Menaul. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Santa Rosa's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Logan, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Logan didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Santa Rosa in their previous matchup last Friday, but they still walked away with a 71-66 victory. Do the Longhorns have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
