Football Game Preview: Mt. Pleasant Tigers vs. Milan Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Kayden McCrory and Jaydon Peete are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Mt. Pleasant Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Milan Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mt. Pleasant is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let East Hickman County get on the board and left with a 28-0 victory. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Eagles are ranked 209th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Payton Niehaus was a one-man wrecking crew as he picked up 129 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 63 yards.

Meanwhile, Milan strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering 37-0. Give the Bulldogs' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Mt. Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Milan, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.
