Softball Recap: Huntland Comes Up Short

Huntland fell victim to Eagleville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Eagles. The Hornets have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Huntland's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Eagleville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Huntland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Moore County on the 7th. Hopefully Eagleville paid attention to the Hornets' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
