 Manitowoc Lincoln is 1-9 against Bay Port since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Friday. The Manitowoc Lincoln Ships will head out on the road to  challenge  the Bay Port Pirates at 4:30  p.m. Manitowoc Lincoln is looking to tack on another W to their 13-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
 Manitowoc Lincoln stacked  an  eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Ashwaubenon 10-0. Manitowoc Lincoln's victory was all the more impressive since Ashwaubenon was averaging only 3.64 runs allowed on the season.
  Evan Vogt was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.  Kameron Braun was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile,  it was close, but  on Saturday Bay Port sidestepped Green Bay Preble for  a  2-1 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Bay Port.
 Bay Port also got a great performance from  Keagan Wheeler as he  struck out seven batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   seven  hits (and only one walk). Wheeler has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Carson Hawley, who  went 2-for-4 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Caleb Schierl, who  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases.
 Manitowoc Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 17-1. As for Bay Port, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record  this season.
 Both  both teams just can't seem to miss. Manitowoc Lincoln has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 10.4  hits per game. However, it's not like Bay Port struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 4.5. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Manitowoc Lincoln beat Bay Port 4-1  in their previous matchup  back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for Manitowoc Lincoln since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
