Baseball Recap: Franklin-Simpson Comes Up Short

Franklin-Simpson lost against Bowling Green back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell 12-8 to the Purples. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklin-Simpson's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Bowling Green, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Franklin-Simpson will head out on the road to face off against Todd County Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Rebels at the right time seeing as the Rebels are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bowling Green, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Christian County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
