Baseball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

The matchup between Washington and Mardela on Thursday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Jaguars came up short against the Warriors, falling 27-3. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dawson Daniels was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Evan Dryden, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mardela, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
