Volleyball Recap: Elle Siniscalchi Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Mount Horeb

Edgewood posted their closest win since September 23rd on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Mount Horeb Vikings 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Crusaders: when they faced off against the Vikings on Saturday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Edgewood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elle Siniscalchi led the charge by getting 13 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Siniscalchi has posted over her last six matchups. Lexi Sheffield was another key player, getting 11 digs and two assists.

Edgewood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. As for Mount Horeb, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 23-8 record.
