Softball Recap: Russell Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Tuscaloosa Christian

While Russell Christian Academy put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Tuscaloosa Christian. Russell Christian Academy blew past Tuscaloosa Christian 18-0. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Russell Christian Academy considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Zoey Tucker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Tucker was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Anna Egbert, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Grace Reynolds was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
