Basketball Recap: Acalanes Starts Season with Win Against Santa Cruz

Acalanes took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Santa Cruz Cardinals with a sharp 68-45 victory.

Looking ahead, Acalanes will take on St. Ignatius College Preparatory in a tournament on Thursday. As for Santa Cruz, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pinole Valley on December 12.
