Softball Recap: Darlington Comes Up Short

Darlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the Cuba City Cubans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cubans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in April.

Darlington's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cuba City, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Darlington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-7 defeat against Pecatonica on the 6th. As for Cuba City, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Mineral Point on the 6th.
