There's no place like home for Calexico, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Calexico's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Palo Verde Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Calexico will have a chance to go back-to-back against Palo Verde Valley: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
