Softball Recap: Greene Central Rams vs. North East Carolina Prep Husky

Greene Central had lost 23 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 1-22 to make it 24. They lost 13-1 to the North East Carolina Prep Husky. Having soared to a lofty 23 runs in the game before, the Rams couldn't push the score so high this time.

Shelby McKeel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Katherine Medlin, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
