Basketball Recap: Mid-Buchanan Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Mid-Buchanan waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the West Platte Bluejays 42-28. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bluejays, too.

Mid-Buchanan pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for West Platte, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-7.

Mid-Buchanan has already played their next matchup (against St. Joseph Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Platte will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Holt at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
