Volleyball Recap: Player #1 and Victoria Hansen Secure Win for Minden

Minden won the last time they faced Cozad and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Whippets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Haymakers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Whippets.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Minden was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-5, 25-13.

Minden was led to victory by Victoria Hansen and Player #1. Hansen had 21 assists and six digs, while Player #1 had 14 digs. That's the most assists Hansen has posted over her last ten contests.

Minden's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Cozad, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 14-12 record.

Coming up, Minden will head out on the road to take on Holdrege at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cozad will be paying especially close attention to the Whippets' match: after the Whippets face off against the Dusters, they'll take on Cozad again at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
