Baseball Game Preview: Winston County Yellowjackets vs. Cold Springs Eagles

For the second straight game, Winston County will face off against Cold Springs. The Yellowjackets will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Winston County has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with seven straight defeats, while Cold Springs will come in with three straight wins.

Winston County came up short against Cold Springs on Tuesday, falling 14-3.

Garrett Lewis made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. Fisher Roberts also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Cold Springs' victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Winston County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.
