Recap: Bel Air Highlanders vs. Ysleta Indians

In what's become a running theme this season, the Bel Air Highlanders gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 55-19 victory over Ysleta. With that win, Bel Air brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.

Bel Air's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alyssa Saldana, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Adalyn Palomo, who scored 15 points along with five assists and three steals.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Ysleta struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Bel Air racked up 14 assists.

Bel Air's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Ysleta, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Horizon the next time they take the court. Ysleta will host Horizon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Bel Air will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
