Volleyball Recap: Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Armuchee Indians on Wednesday. Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 22-25, 25-20, 25-6.

Armuchee was led to victory by Addison Blanton and Charley Ray. Blanton had 14 digs and three aces, while Ray had ten digs and two aces. Ray is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Armuchee, they pushed their record up to 25-15 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Armuchee, they will face off against Oglethorpe County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
