Softball Recap: Trinity Lutheran Falls Short of Milan in the Playoffs

Trinity Lutheran and Milan squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Trinity Lutheran had to settle for second. They came up short against the Indians, falling 8-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost four in a row.

Grace Lance spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered eight runs (all of which were unearned) on six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Trinity Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Milan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-9.

As of now, neither Trinity Lutheran nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
