Lee Christian came into Saturday's contest having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 41-32 victory over the Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles on Saturday. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 51-27 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lee Christian's win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-10. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Haw River Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Haw River Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lee Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Cape Fear Christian Academy and Riverside Christian Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
