Baseball Game Preview: Huron River Rats vs. Saline Hornets

For the second straight game, Huron will face off against Saline. The River Rats will take on the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Huron has given up an average of 7.3 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Huron came up short against Saline on Monday, falling 14-2. The River Rats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Huron saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Pinsky, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Daniel Feltner was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

The win (which was Saline's third in a row) raised their record to 10-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Huron, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1.
