Basketball Game Preview: Chicago Marshall Commandos vs. Julian Jaguars

The Chicago Marshall Commandos will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Julian Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chicago Marshall has given up an average of 61.8 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Chicago Marshall saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 65-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thornton.

Julian played against Chicago Tech on Friday and won via forfeit.

Julian pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Chicago Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Chicago Marshall against Julian in their previous matchup back in November of 2019, as the team secured a 71-29 victory. Will the Commandos repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
