Basketball Game Preview: Edgerton Bulldogs vs. Holgate Tigers

The Edgerton Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Holgate Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Edgerton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Edgerton will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Stryker, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Edgerton snuck past Stryker with a 42-37 victory on Saturday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Holgate duked it out withStryker on Thursday. Holgate fell just short of Stryker by a score of 34-32. The Tigers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Edgerton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Holgate, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Edgerton was able to grind out a solid win over Holgate in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, winning 42-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Edgerton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
