Basketball Recap: Tohatchi Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Navajo Prep

On Friday, Tohatchi faced Navajo Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Tohatchi Cougars took a 39-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Navajo Prep Eagles. The Cougars have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Tohatchi's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Navajo Prep, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 22-5.

As of now, neither Tohatchi nor Navajo Prep have any future games scheduled.
