It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Opelousas Catholic had no problem doing just that on Monday. They never let the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Opelousas Catholic's ninth in a row) raised their record to 22-10. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for St. Edmund, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Opelousas Catholic nor St. Edmund have any future games scheduled.
