Preview: Martin County Knights vs. Pamlico County Hurricanes
Martin County has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Pamlico County Hurricanes at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martin County will be strutting in after a win while Pamlico County will be coming in after a loss.
Last Saturday, Martin County got the win against Corinth Holders by a conclusive 66-41.
Martin County found their leader in underclassman Jordan Matthewson, who scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tayvon Lee, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.
Meanwhile, Pamlico County was the victim of a rough 68-48 defeat at the hands of Havelock on Friday. Pamlico County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Martin County's win bumped their season record to 2-0 while Corinth Holders' loss dropped theirs to 0-5.
