Volleyball Recap: Franklin's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Franklin had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Milford Scarlet Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scarlet Hawks, too.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-4, 25-11.

Emerson Stewart was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six aces and three assists. Those three assists gave her a new career-high.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Milford, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Newton South on the 26th. As for Milford, they will host Oliver Ames at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
