Basketball Recap: Colonial Beach Takes a Loss

Colonial Beach suffered their biggest loss since December 3, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 71-46 to the Essex Trojans. The Drifters were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 56-48.

Colonial Beach has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Essex, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Colonial Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Essex, they will head out on the road to take on Rappahannock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
