Basketball Recap: Salisbury Comes Up Short

Salisbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Worcester Prep Mallards. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-51 back in December of 2024.

Salisbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Worcester Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salisbury will take on Delmarva Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Delmarva Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.9 points per game this season. As for Worcester Prep, they will face off against Salisbury Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Worcester Prep is facing Salisbury Christian at the right time seeing as Salisbury Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
