Volleyball Recap: Mexico Takes a Loss

Mexico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Warrenton Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered against the Warriors since October 10, 2022.

Mexico took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-16.

Their offense was headlined by Claire Isgrig and Julia Goerne, who picked up three kills apiece. Isgrig really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with six. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Mexico's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Warrenton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-16.

Looking ahead, Mexico will take on Brookfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warrenton, they will face off against Orchard Farm at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
