There's no place like home for Temecula Valley, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Great Oak Wolfpack  5-4. This was a revenge game for the Golden Bears: when they faced off against the Wolfpack  on Monday, they had to take a  1-0  defeat.
 Grayson Martin tossed a big game,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Stafford Johnson was  excellent,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Chase Hilt, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
Temecula Valley's record now sits at 13-10. As for Great Oak, they moved to 10-14 with that  loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
Temecula Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolfpack: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
