Baseball Recap: Lake Havasu Knights vs. Catalina Foothills Falcons

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lake Havasu can now relate to. They lost 14-4 to the Catalina Foothills Falcons on Saturday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Knights, who until this matchup were averaging 3.81 runs allowed.

Deegan Cross was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
