Soccer Recap: Denmark-Olar Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bamberg-Ehrhardt on Tuesday, Denmark-Olar came back down to earth. The Vikings came up short against the Horse Creek Academy Stallions on Thursday, falling 5-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Denmark-Olar were already down 3-0.

Denmark-Olar has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Horse Creek Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Denmark-Olar will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hardeeville at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Horse Creek Academy, they will welcome Fox Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
