Basketball Game Preview: Shoals Jug Rox vs. Mitchell Bluejackets

The Shoals Jug Rox will challenge the Mitchell Bluejackets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Shoals: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Mitchell has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

Shoals is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Orleans on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Shoals was dealt a 67-25 loss at the hands of Orleans. The Jug Rox were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-10.

Meanwhile, Mitchell didn't have quite enough to beat Edgewood on Friday and fell 63-61.

Shoals' defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Mitchell, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7.
