The Tuscaloosa Academy Knights will venture away from home to challenge the American Christian Academy Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tuscaloosa Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season.

On Thursday, Tuscaloosa Academy earned a 51-41 victory over Northside. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Tuscaloosa Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mark Norris, who posted 18 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. Those 18 points gave Norris a new career-high. Bryant Brown was another key player, putting up 15 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask American Christian Academy). They walked away with a 44-33 win over West Blocton on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Patriots with their most commanding win of the season.

American Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Tuscaloosa Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over American Christian Academy in their previous meeting last Thursday, winning 38-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
