Sky View came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-5 to the West Field Longhorns. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Sky View saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chance Christensen, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Skyler Murdock was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Sky View's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-7. As for West Field, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

While Sky View had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
