Basketball Recap: Bettendorf Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Bettendorf won the last time they faced Assumption and things went their way on Monday too. The Bettendorf Bulldogs came out on top against the Assumption Knights by a score of 41-31. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs who have now won five games in a row.

Bettendorf has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points per game. As for Assumption, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-9.

When Bettendorf and Assumption next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Bettendorf will square off against Davenport North and their five-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Assumption will try to stop Central DeWitt's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
