Volleyball Recap: Santana Victorious

Santana won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Sultans came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sultans.

Olivia Magneta paced Santana's offense, picking up seven kills. Magneta got some help from Madison Fortuna and her 16 assists. Brooklynn Draheim controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Santana's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Santana didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Clairemont on the 16th. As for Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Oceanside on the 16th.
