O'Donnell had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Crosbyton Chiefs on Friday as they made off with a 13-3 win. Considering the Eagles have won nine games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Willie Luera made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Luera was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lincoln Graham, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Ezyah Torres was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
