Basketball Recap: Eastside Comes Up Short

Eastside lost to Camden back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 63-59 to the Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Panthers are ranked 18th).

This is the second loss in a row for Eastside and nudges their season record down to 10-9. As for Camden, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Eastside won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kingsway at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Camden, they will challenge Burlington Township at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
