Football Recap: Crivitz Falls Short of St. Joseph in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Crivitz can now relate to. They were outmatched by the St. Joseph Lancers and fell 41-7. Having soared to a lofty 42 points in the game before, the Wolverines couldn't push the score so high this time.

Zach Rizzo had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 217 yards and two TDs on only 18 passes, while also punching in one score on the ground for St. Joseph. 85 of Rizzo's passing yards were hauled in by Dominic Rinaldi, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Crivitz's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for St. Joseph, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Crivitz does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Joseph, they will be playing at home against Coleman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lancers 5.4, the Cougars 9.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
