It was a good run, but Corbin unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Laurel Jaguars. The Redhounds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 8-5.
Kade Elam put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Kaiden Freeman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That hit marked the first that he got this season.
