Basketball Recap: North Mahaska Piles Up the Points Against English Valleys

North Mahaska waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took their game with ease, bagging a 75-19 victory over the English Valleys Bears. The Warhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 30 points or more this season.

North Mahaska's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games. As for English Valleys, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.

Looking ahead, North Mahaska will square off against Baxter on Thursday. Baxter knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully North Mahaska likes a good challenge. English Valleys does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
