Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Wins Going Away Against Seven Rivers Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against George Jenkins, Calvary Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on Seven Rivers Christian with a sharp 3-0 win.

The victory didn't come easy: Seven Rivers Christian scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 26-24, 25-21.

Calvary Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Calvary Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Winthrop College Prep Academy on the 4th. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they will take on Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
