The Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Gladiators at 7:00 p.m. Neither Falcon nor Widefield posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Falcon is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They took a blow against Montrose, falling 57-6. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-6.

Meanwhile, Widefield fell victim to Mesa Ridge and their airtight defense on Saturday. They were dealt a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Grizzlies.

Falcon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Widefield, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-4.

Falcon came out on top in a nail-biter against Widefield when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 28-26. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
