Volleyball Recap: Philip Simmons Makes It Six in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Philip Simmons, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Carson Cougars on Saturday.

While Philip Simmons won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16.

McRae Stephenson paced Philip Simmons' offense, picking up eight kills. Stephenson got some help from Dani Gehringer and her 14 assists. Gabby Kakalev controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
