Football Recap: Medina Valley Comes Up Short

Medina Valley played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 44-20 to the Boerne Greyhounds. The Panthers have struggled against the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Although Medina Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Xavier Gonzalez, Dezerin Wright, and Connor Crisp.

Grant Sweeney went supernova For Boerne., rushing for 127 yards and three scores on only eight carries, while also throwing for 194 yards and a pair of TDs.

Medina Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Boerne, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Medina Valley will face off against Burbank at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boerne, they will square off against East Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
