Preview: North Haven Nighthawks vs. Amity Regional Spartans
After three games on the road, North Haven is heading back home. They will take on the Amity Regional Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, North Haven made easy work of Guilford and carried off a 59-36 win.
Meanwhile, Amity Regional didn't have too much trouble with Lauralton Hall at home on Tuesday as they won 52-34. Given Amity Regional's advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Lauralton Hall is ranked 133rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
North Haven's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Amity Regional, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
