Shallowater is 7-1 against Dimmitt since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Shallowater Mustangs will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Dimmitt Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Shallowater's favor as the team sits on 14 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Dimmitt has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Shallowater will head into Saturday's matchup on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Snyder on Saturday. Shallowater simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Snyder 66-31.

Meanwhile, Dimmitt didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Springlake-Earth on Friday, but they still walked away with a 56-52 victory.

Shallowater now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Dimmitt, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6.

Shallowater beat Dimmitt 50-41 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Will Shallowater repeat their success, or does Dimmitt have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
